The Australian versions of this album was the first release of the band's material on vinyl in Australia and included a couple of extra tracks. The performances on both these versions are very good too.
The other bonus tracks on the album are from concert recordings by the band from their Australian and New Zealand tours in 19 respectively, they are very rare and the best sounding versions available. This all important live recording was captured during the band's November 2014 tour of Australia and is a great addition to the catalogue of Steeleye Span's live performances. The vocal tracks are all new and the music and arrangements, as well as the sleeve notes are all new. The Reissue CD version of the album is the first new released version of any Steeleye material for the band since the original masters set released in 2007. I am a huge fan of Steeleye Span and have been ever since I first saw them at the Manchester Tavern in 1977, so I am very proud to have the opportunity of working on their material.I am currently working on the final mastering of the new Australian Steeleye Span Rarities CD for Raven Records.The material on this album is spectacular to say the least a lot of it comesexclusively from Australian only releases and live performances plus someunreleased gems from both the U.K.
